About Teva
Then
In 1984, a nature guide made use of an old Velcro watch strap to secure his flip flops to his feet. He found this to offer the perfect combination between sandal and flip flop, and thus Teva was born. From the brand's conception, it did not take long until Teva shoes were flying off the shelves. Teva sandals and other footwear have proven very popular due to their high functionality and practicality. Teva shoes can be used in water as well as on land, and will always sit perfectly because of the high quality straps.

Teva Maintenance
Plastic maintenance
Plastic Teva sandals can easily be cleaned with warm soapy water with mild soap. Are you travelling or on holiday? Then you can also occasionally put them in the shower and clean them with a soap or shampoo. The sandals are also suitable for the washing machine on a short program at 30 degrees.
Have you been in the sea with your sandals? No problem! Just make sure you rinse them with fresh water afterwards. This prevents the formation of white circles. Treat the sandals regularly with a maintenance spray to ensure the sandals are extra well protected against external influences.
Leather maintenance
Teva usually uses two types of leather: water-resistant leather and plain leather. When water-resistant leather is used, this is clearly stated. These sandals, like the plastic sandals, can best be treated with warm soapy water and mild soap.
With 'normal' leather, you can first brush off the sandals and then treat them with warm soapy water and a very mild soap. Then allow the shoes to dry naturally without placing them in the vicinity of a heat source. After you have cleaned the shoes, we recommend spraying them with a maintenance spray for optimal protection.
Odour treatment
Teva treats their sandals with a special finish that ensures bad odours do not stand a chance. This product is called Microban® Zinc and consists of an environmentally friendly zinc technology that counteracts odours caused by bacteria and fungi.
It may be that you have a few old Teva shoes that do not smell fresh anymore. Then we advise you to treat the sandals with a product called Mirazyme. This kills bacteria and eliminates bad smells. Leave your sandals in a bucket with Mirazyme overnight, let them dry naturally, and you'll have fresh-smelling shoes again in no time.
