The Carrera Apex is a practical, comfortable and lightweight helmet that offers many advantages during exercise. The helmet is designed according to the In-Mould principle. This principle means that the helmet is light but the protective material is made from polycarbonate for the exterior with a combination of a softshell for the inside. This guarantees excellent shock absorption in case of a fall. In addition, the helmet is equipped with the innovative 'Active Ventilation' system. This ventilation system comprises air channels which run towards the rear from the front of the helmet. These air ducts are located at the top of the helmet, where fresh air is pushed inwards and excess heat to the outside. You can control this yourself using the on / off button present on the helmet. The earmuffs on both sides are removable. This also applies to the inner lining of the helmet, so you can wash it in the interim. If the fit is not perfect, you can adjust the fit using the rotex system.
