The Carrera ID Active is a Carrera ski helmet with many qualities. The ski helmet is similar to the ID Carrera ski helmet, but this helmet offers something extra, namely a lot of comfort and protection. This is partly due to the petal-shaped EPS shock absorber plates inside the helmet. These plates automatically adjust to the head in case of a fall and are very flexible. The EPS shock absorbers are held together by thermal mesh material that spreads over the inside of the helmet. In addition, extra safety is guaranteed due to the built-in '360° Impact Protection'. This innovative system consists of small cones that are able to move 360°, thereby interrupting the force of any impact to the head. What distinguishes the Carrera ID Active from the 'normal' ID ski helmet is the ability to actively ventilate. The active ventilation consists of sixteen air holes distributed over the main surface, which you can easily open with four buttons on the helmet. This allows you to regulate the ventilation yourself, which contributes to your comfort. The fit of the ID Active can be perfectly adjusted with the 'Boa Fitting System'. By means of a button on the back of the helmet, you can ensure that your helmet will fit closely to your head.
