Water Resistance

Snow boots are made to walk along through the snow. This does not mean that all snow boots are equally waterproof. Wearing in snow boots

Why treat the snow boots?

By treating your snow boots with a special spray, it prevents dirt from easily adhering to the snow boot. This particular spray also makes the snow boots waterproof and water-repellent.

After the treatment, it is very important that you leave the surface of the snow boots to dry, so that the spray can work to its full effect. We recommend that you leave the snow boots to dry for at least 24 hours, to ensure that a successful treatment. Note: do not leave the snow boots to dry on a heater or fireplace, rather place them in a room with a warm temperature. It is also wise to allow the snow boots to dry by means of another heat source, such as, for example, a hair dryer.

How do I optimise the spray?

• It is advisable that before you start treating your snow boots, you should first try on a small inconspicuous area of the surface. This way you can be sure that no unwanted spots or colour are left on the snow boot.

• Make sure you cover the outside layer adequately by holding the spray can near to the boot when you spray. A good covering layer increases the effect of the spray protection. To ensure optimal water resistance, it is wise to repeat this treatment three times.

• Finally, make certain that you regularly treat the snow boots after use with protection spray, this will increase the life span of the boot.
