This Alta Bunion II leather walking shoe has a special last so that the misalignment of the big toe no longer has to be a problem. The last offers extra space around the big toe joint and in the forefoot area. This extra space in combination with optimized stitching guarantees pain-free walking comfort. The reinforced PU foam wedge provides the shoe with soft cushioning and thus enables a smooth rolling movement. A combination of the durable waterproof GORE-TEX lining and a high-quality nubuck leather upper makes the Alta Bunion II a comfortable and reliable companion for walks on flat terrain up to light hut-to-hut tours in the Alps.
Category B
These boots provide excellent support and can therefore be used for multi-day hikes. The trecking or hiking boots have a sole that is more rigid than in Category A and the shoes also feature a higher shaft, providing better support to the ankles. The hiking boots are suitable for mountainous terrains, but for the real mountains, the sole is too lenient.
